I have been interested in photography as long as I can remember.  I started by using an Agfa box camera that was gifted to me around the age of 9.  Eventually, my father allowed me the use of his Kodak Retina 3s rangefinder.  That incredible camera eventually became my primary photography tool and cemented my love of photography as an art.  

After I graduated from college my career took a front seat, and my photography was mostly limited to casual snapshots.  After winding down a career in technology spanning over four decades I revived my  love of this art form and now actively practice photography in a variety of genres.  This includes landscapes, street story telling, architecture, historic and character portraits. 

In my photography I strive to challenge our everyday perception of the world we live in, and attempt to present facets of it that invite the viewer to stop, feel and perhaps shift their point of observation.  I feel this is a powerful way to influence positive change.  This practice still remains very much an active journey for me.
